One day a meal is fine; another day it leaves you flushed, itchy, headachy or uncomfortable in your stomach. You may notice that sleep, stress or where you are in your cycle seems to change how you respond. It can feel as though the list of things you tolerate is getting smaller and smaller, while the reason remains unclear.
Histamine may be part of the conversation, but a list of “high-histamine foods” rarely tells the whole story. We all know how to follow online dietary protocols, but I want to help you understand what is happening for you.
Let’s look at the pattern together
We’ll talk through your symptoms, when they began, how they vary and what else was going on when they changed. We can look at your digestion, food habits, sleep, stress, menstrual cycle and wider health history. What have you already tried? Did it help, or did it leave you eating less and worrying more?
My approach is to explore possible contributors and choose sensible next steps together. That may include a closer look at food and how it is stored or prepared, while making sure you are still eating enough and enjoying what you can. We won’t assume every reaction has the same cause or keep removing foods without a clear reason.
You deserve time to tell the whole story. We can start there, make sense of the patterns and build a plan that fits your life.
Would you like more individual support?
I offer a comprehensive, individualised programme shaped around your needs and circumstances. We can explore food, lifestyle, supplements and herbs, and I can recommend testing when appropriate. Email lisa@evolvefemalewellness.com to enquire about working together.
